For their International Procurement Centre Telecommunications, based in Heerlen, we are looking for a new colleague. The International Procurement Centre is part of the Unit Procurement Network Capacities within Business Services and is dealing with Telecommunication Services.

| As an International Procurement Manager Telecom you will be supporting the organization to win big/strategic deals by increasing the value proposition of purchasing efficiently and effectively, along the entire life cycle of a project. The services of Telecommunications (TC) are focussed on WAN/ MPLS, fixed, mobile and satellite services. You will report to the Head of the International Procurement Center. |

Tasks and responsibilities I: Big/major deal support:
• Providing TC costing structure for big/major deals (>100M; IT+TC)
• Participating in bid teams and due diligences
• Ensuring competitive deal pricing
• Identifying pricing and quality risks on a regional and provider basis
• Taking over and optimizing client vendor agreements, managing the contract transition phases
• Facilitating commercial negotiations together with Legal, Factory and other Service units
• Developing and executing vendor strategies in co-operation with other business units
Tasks and responsibilities II: International access procurement:
• Determination and analysis of existing inventory
• Providing inventory RFP exercise, including market analysis for appropriate suppliers
• Actively driving access supplier management function
• Performing regional/local contract management |

• Completed university degree (technical or business related);
• Extensive experience and expertise of international Telco’s including their SOP’s;
• Experienced in dealing Telco Carrier-to-Carrier Business (Procurement/Sales);
• Experienced in contract management with key partner and supplier contracts ;
• Well experienced in multinational working environment and international negotiation skills;
• Expert in contract and vendor i.e. partner management;
• Experience in project management and project-oriented working;
• Business Language: English augmented by access to other language experts if required;
• A team player, success driven, open and consultative in approach.
