Glasford International will hold a client conference in Marrakesh (Morocco) on 16-19 March 2006, with international guest speakers from companies and specialist HR consultancies.
The subject of the conference is Value Management, a new management philosophy and the implications for Human Resources.
Value management is aimed at giving management control of more strategic issues by measuring the dynamics of a company´s internal and external critical factors.
The main objective of the Value Manager is the integration of a management model that identifies and measures the value creation within the company and focuses on methodologies and new concepts in the economical and financial management of the company without compromising the organisations culture.
The Value Manager will have to develop and manage data analysis systems that determines the real value of the company, based on the long range development of cash flow and not on short term maximisation of profit. This way of operating demands an obligation to " quantify " the strategies and in this role the Value Manager is responsible for determining the link between strategy and budget. |
